Shiv Narayan Agnihotri happens to be the first name of Devatma, born to Pandit Rameshwara Agnihotri and Shrimati Mohun Kunwar sharp at sunrise on 20th December 1850 at Akbarpur in the district of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Devatma is his spiritual name.

It is a coincidence that the spiritual entity, Devatma the light of the universe, became visible in the age of science, the era which demands verification at every step. Therefore the light that illuminates the perceptible, is also supposed to seek verification from the spiritual world.
So the approach of the light which is universal in nature which bases the religion on the theories of science, which bosoms the tests of scientific criteria, and which leads an individual into the world of immutable laws of Nature, is the approach of Devatma.

This light, Devatma possesses the attributes of unique moving forces in his soul. It pivots itself on the process of evolution. This makes it seem as new-fangled to the mind of the world which has been struck into the mess of escapism for centuries, or let us say the crux of false concepts of the religion.  In contrasts to the gobbledygook of the uncertified concepts the religion is quite scientific. This is the claim of Devatma that endangers itself with the risks of opposition from the contrasting forces of earlier ‘religion’. But truth is truth and can be tried irrespective of the colour, creed, caste, race and ethnicity and across the borders.

Truth means science; science means all types of verification by anybody who can reasonably suspect its viability of all types. This feature of Devatma distinguishes him as the light of the universe. And this light is for the deep dungeons of unverifiable ‘religions’ let us say irreligion, that needs correction by scientific means. Such moving forces procure the dynamic organism to Devatma that can move every stone of the irreligion by its logic   It inherited such an ideal life to place it before the human world as a touch stone. The false concepts of ‘religion’ trace their place below zero and an ordinary man measures positive whatsoever be the degree. But positive is positive and much preferred than negative. So an ordinary man is much better than the plethora of concoctions of falsehood by irreligion. This is oneness of the common man with Devatama.

Absolute love of Truth
Absolute of Goodness
Absolute hatred of untruth
Absolute hatred of the evil inherent, unscrupulous in relations of the existing man to his fellows

There has been a time when like other earlier religious brains Devatma also accepted his characteristics as God-given. God could deliver mankind only through him. As we mentioned above, Devatma consists of complete love of truth and goodness, and complete hatred of untruth and evil, the existence of God was contrary to the facts. At one time he thought of God as truth, goodness and beauty and Devatma was supposed to work for truth and goodness in the world, but the idea shattered as it happened to be absolute untruth, and thus absolute hatred for the long-established God.

Therefore the idea that had Devatma continued to attribute his love of truth and goodness to God, there would have one addition to the number of existing religious leaders as free of egotism and an avatar of highest order, let us hypothesize him as incarnation of God.But as God was not any verifiable entity it got rejected by the verifiable truth, the attribute of Devatma. It was unworthy of acceptance on this ground and it got rejected with the passage of time. he rejected belief in God as unverifiable and hence not worthy of acceptance. The realization that the excellences were his own and not God given, and thus there surfaced a new concept, a new version that was meaningful in every sense that had been hidden there as an old psychology before the declaration of the Devatma that it is ITSELF and nothing God given.

Nothing was Supernatural for him. Everything was a subject of verification under the lens of natural conditions and the natural laws governing the process of evolution. So the reconstruction of religion without supernatural being of God, heaven and hell, the mess to say! His world could be studied by science as it was real in every sense. His description of superior genius without reference to God may not mistake the reader to assume a human being, howsoever exalted, and talking too much about himself. Therefore the need to accept Devatma’s description of growth and development of inner spiritual genius in a positive way. This should be for the spiritual enjoyment and instruction.

Such a presentation of Devatma of himself with respect to the process of evolution offers understanding of the process itself. As a lover of the highest truth it was necessary for Devatma to contemplate on his life for it was for the supreme cause of the universe. We feel blessed in reading about Devatma because we witness the highest glory of the universe. This sublime life is the sun giving us light to be the witness of his existence, the product of the process of evolution. Then what is the psychology of a soul completing love of truth and goodness? Does he stands loyal even at the point of death and with what he believes to be true and good? Strong will power can exhibit such a character.

Hitler could stay loyal to what he believed was true and good.So to say staying loyal can be found both in a godly and devilish entity alike.

For Devatma, love of truth and goodness is a new and exclusive psychology. It means his thoughts and conduct are determined by the principle of truth and goodness in contrast to human soul inclined to love of pleasure in such a determination.

Undoubtedly even the best of altruistic ones are occupied by certain weaknesses of the flesh and ego, and similarly the absence of certain virtues which are expected of because of the altruism. . Sages deviated from the path, reads their history. It was the wild wish that deviated them into untruth and evil.

But it is the Devatma with no such weakness whatsoever they might be. He has no lack of virtues for his love of goodness leaves out no virtue undeveloped Further, there is scope for evil in Devatma!! Clean of temptation it has hatred for every kind temptation.
Virtue, virtue and virtue, fully developed virtue, the attribute of Devatma.
